We will hire all relevant medical experts we need to successfully represent you, and we will finance all reports and records. These costs will be recovered from the insurance company upon conclusion the claim.

Bio
Mr. Steinmetz is a member of the Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyer Association, and the Medico-Legal society.
He has authored a series of articles on topics related to insurance law and personal injury, and most recently published treatises on the subjects of punitive damages and the use of surveillance evidence during trial and the discovery phase of litigation. He has also participated as a guest instructor and lecturer at the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Osgoode Hall, and the Law Society of Ontario.
Mr. Steinmetz’s current litigation practice is restricted to the area of plaintiffs’ personal injury law. He has extensive courtroom experience, conducting both jury and non-jury trials in the province of Ontario following his call to the Bar.
Mr. Steinmetz acted as trial counsel for the plaintiff in the leading case of Kusznierz v Economical Insurance which expanded the definition of catastrophically impaired accident victims to include individuals who sustained a combination of physical and psychological impairments. He has also been retained as counsel in numerous mediation and arbitration proceedings at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, ADR Chambers and the Licensing Appeals Tribunal. Mr. Steinmetz also acts as litigation counsel to other firms on a regular basis.
Mr. Steinmetz lives in Toronto with his spouse, children, and their three dogs. When not at work he enjoys activities with his family, including golf, tennis, travelling and cheering on the Toronto Raptors.


Bio
During his time at Western, Colin interned with the Community Legal Services clinic, managing a file-load of his own clients and assisting with a wide variety of issues, including personal injury, commercial litigation, landlord-tenant issues, and family law. Colin currently manages a number of clients with Steinmetz & Associates, assisting them with all manner of personal injury issues. He handles litigation at both the Superior Court of Ontario and the License Appeals Tribunal, providing assistance for both tort and accident benefits claims.
In addition to being a member of the Ontario bar, Colin is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He prioritizes clear communication and setting client expectations, along with strong advocacy and securing excellent results for his clients.

Bio
Yann attended Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor (JD). During his time at Queen’s, he served as a caseworker at the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, working to increase access to legal services for those in the Kingston area. He also worked with Queen’s University’s graduate student union, organizing inter-faculty events, and contributed to several clubs.
Prior to attending law school, Yann received a BA in political science from Concordia University, graduating with distinction. He completed his articles at Steinmetz & Associates and was called to the bar in June 2019.
During his free time, Yann enjoys jogging, especially if the jog leads him to a slice of cheesecake. He is fluent in French.

Tammy provides ongoing assistance to Harry Steinmetz and his team in all aspects of the litigation process, beginning with meeting new clients and following the file through to the end. She has experience with trials in Superior Court, and mediation and arbitration proceedings with FSCO and ADR Chambers. She has a comprehensive understanding of litigation procedures. Tammy is also responsible for the day to day management of the firm and is responsible for HR related matters, work allocation, accounts payable, billings, and systems management for the firm.
Tammy lives in Pickering with her husband and their two children. When not at work she loves spending time with family and travelling when the opportunity arises.

Jackie is fluent in Spanish. She is an active member of OTLA, in addition to being a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
In her personal time she enjoys spending time with her three children and pursuing education.

Bobby is a proud member of the Canadian Sikh community and is politically active both in Canada and his native India supporting a host of worthwhile causes.
Bobby is a loving husband and proud father of both a son and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys travel, arts and culture, fine cuisine, history and politics. Bobby is always available for in home and hospital consultations.
